Created as part of PHA’s inaugural Artists Celebration, the ceramic beans are made possible through the PHA Ceramics Studio’s state-of-the-art fabrication facilities and equipment. The unique glazes on each ceramic bean capture the bean type’s colorful resemblance.

About this bean: Black Nightfall Dry Pole Beans are a rare 19th-century heirloom with a semi-pole habit. These beans are known for their rich, nutty flavor and are highly regarded for their taste. They are described as a very easy and trouble-free bean to grow. While not a tall climbing variety, they will benefit from the support of a trellis if available.
