Created as part of PHA’s inaugural Artists Celebration, the ceramic beans are made possible through the PHA Ceramics Studio’s state-of-the-art fabrication facilities and equipment. The unique glazes on each ceramic bean capture the bean type’s colorful resemblance.

About this bean: Marie-Louise is a historical French pole bean. Their fresh pods can be eaten when young, though its seeds are usually consumed as a dried or shelled bean. These beans are to be sown into the ground with poles at the beginning of a warm week. The stalks may be trained and directed as they begin to grow.
