Created as part of PHA’s inaugural Artists Celebration, the ceramic beans are made possible through the PHA Ceramics Studio’s state-of-the-art fabrication facilities and equipment. The unique glazes on each ceramic bean capture the bean type’s colorful resemblance.

About this bean: This sweet little bean hails from Blokker, North Holland. This variety is known for its strong resistance to diseases and its suitability for the Dutch climate. The bean is light beige-yellow in color and is prized for its refined taste. It is a close relative of the yellow-colored Lemon bean and the Swiss Hutterite bean, which is famous for being used in soups.
